PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES:  Tuesday, Oct. 21st and Wednesday, October 29th. 

We will be hosting our conferences on these two days.  Please choose which day works for you!  October 21st will be from 3:00-7:00 and October 29th will be from 3:30-7:30 pm.  Please come and meet with your student's teachers.  You do not need t schedule an appointment to see a teacher.  Please just come in and visit the classroom of the teacher you wish to conference with about your student. On the 21st, we are also hosting a college fair in the cafeteria from 6:00-7:30 pm.  We look forward to seeing you!

TRICK OR TREAT STREET: Thursday, October 30th 5:00-7:00 PM
Our annual Trick or Treat Street is set for Thursday, October 30th from 5:00-7:00 pm in our main gym.  This is a fun event for costumed children from preschool through elementary school.  Our students set up booths and have games, prizes, candy, etc.  The entrance fee is $3.00.  Bring a container for your prizes and treats! SOUTH SERVES DAY!:  Saturday, November 15th 9:30-11:30 
We are excited to bring the community together at the South Serves Day!  Join South students, teachers, staff, parents and community members to serve and connect.  We will be raking neighbors' leaves and recycling at the Leaf Drop in the South parking lot.  At 11:30, we will gather in front of South's front yard for lunch and conversation. This day is sponsored by the Denver South Community Partnerships, South's PTSA and in partnership with A Little Help, a local nonprofit that serves on the DSCP Board.  Click here for more information.

The first of South's three productions will be presented on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 13th, 14th and 15th at 7:00 PM.  It will also show on Sunday, November 16th at 2:00 pm.  Tickets are $10.00.  Into the Woods is one of Stephen Sondheim's modern musical masterpieces; a deep and brilliant mash-up of fairy tales that examines the very concept of what we wish for, and how we navigate getting what we want - or not!  Please join us!  South High is well known for their professional productions!

SHOWCASE NIGHT FOR SOUTH: Thursday, November 20th:  6-8 pm

We are inviting all current 8th graders and their parents to our South High School Showcase Event!  You will hear from administrators, teachers, parents and students about South.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions, take a tour and more!  Light refreshments will be served.  Please join us as we showcase the wonderful things we have to offer at South High School.  South offers a cross-cultural academic experience that challenges all students to attain the highest levels of academic success.  We are a neighborhood school with global outreach!
